The Pigeon House
, shown above was in a sorry state with the roof caving in
and the facade crumbling but as an architectural icon typical of the region its well worth saving. After reinforcement the roof is removed and the timber structure beneath is inspected those members past saving are replaced and the rest treated with a preservative insecticide the small flat tiles are refitted and in just 6 months it has blended back in with its surroundings
ready to face the next 50 years. Although now structurally sound with the moss and lichen once again taking hold it seems untouched. charming.
Mr Golby completely renovated the Electrical and plumbing system in my house. His workmanship was of the highest quality and his capacity for problem solving in an old house was a grate asset, and accompanied by a cheerful and resourceful
reaction to each new difficulty. Each task was completed on time and within budget and represented excellent value for money. Upon completion the work under went an inspection and I was issued with a certificate from the Consuel du Electricity.
